Fiona is a Clinical Psychologist and Registered Play Therapist (APTA) with over 20 years experience working with children and families with a broad range of emotional, social and behavioural challenges. She has worked in a number of settings, including mental health and early intervention.
Fiona is passionate about engaging children in therapy through play and loves seeing families strengthen their relationships and create lasting bonds. Beginning by getting to know you and your family and developing a shared plan, Fiona tailors her approach to meet your individual needs. Fiona uses a range of therapeutic approaches including play therapy, ACT, narrative therapy, and parent and family work, depending on what is the best fit for your child and family.
Fiona has many years experience completing developmental and diagnostic assessments. Having a respectful and gentle approach enables her to ensure that children and families are well supported throughout this process.
In addition to running her private practice Fiona is a senior Clinical Psychologist at the Royal Children’s Hospital. She is also a guest lecturer at a number of universities. She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, specializing in child and family psychology, at the University of Melbourne.
Fiona loves spending time with her family, cooking and hanging out at the beach.
Emma is a Clinical Psychologist with 7 years of experience supporting children and families. Emma has worked in early childhood intervention supporting families in their homes and educational settings, private practice, and school settings.
Emma supports children and adolescents with anxiety and emotional and behavioural difficulties. E
Emma is a Clinical Psychologist with 7 years of experience supporting children and families. Emma has worked in early childhood intervention supporting families in their homes and educational settings, private practice, and school settings.
Emma supports children and adolescents with anxiety and emotional and behavioural difficulties. Emma also regularly completes cognitive and educational assessments as well as autism spectrum disorder assessments. Emma is very experienced in working with neurodiverse children including children with autism, developmental delays, and disabilities.
Emma uses a strengths-based approach as well as CBT, ACT and narrative therapy. Emma uses play and a child’s interests to engage children in therapy and to build a child’s skills and is passionate about working collaboratively with parents and/ or carers to support children.
Emma is a member of the Australian Psychology Society (APS) and member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
